Somehow we’re already half way through March…and heading for the next round of book releases. April has some great sequels, May has some interesting Contemporary novels and June has a Thriller I am dying to read.
April Pick – Spindle Fire
This one was a tough pick – I mean, look at all those great releases! – but Spindle Fire eventually won out. I love the summary, the cover, the fairy tale elements. You can even read the first three chapters over on EpicReads.
May Pick – One of Us is Lying
Five students walk into detention one Monday afternoon…and only four walk out. The victim was due to release juicy secrets of four high profile students – the same four he had detention with.
This is similar to ‘This is our story‘ which I loved so I’m keen to read this. A student is dead and it’s likely one of the other students killed him. Question is, which one?
COVER NOT FINAL
June Pick – Dividing Eden
I loved Joelle Charbonneau’s Testing series and this new book just sounds amazing. Twins, Carys and Andreus were never meant to rule Eden. Their elder brother was first in line to the throne and their kingdom secure. But the king and crown prince are assassinated and the kingdom needs a ruler. And that means Trial of Succession, a brutal testing method to determine the rightful ruler that might just drive brother and sister apart.
The majority of my collection are paperbacks, simply because they are easier to manage and it leaves me with more space. It has to be a really, really pretty cover for me to buy a hardback.
Here is our next round of paperback releases for the next quarter.
The Rose and the Dagger – April 4th
Ruined – May 4th
Frostblood -May 4th
Meet Me at Beachcomber Bay – May 18th
Girl Against the Universe – June 6th
Fate of the Tearling – June 29th
That appears to be it for now. I have trawled Amazon and Goodreads and I think that’s everything. I missed a few books off, either because it’s not a series I read or I’m not too sure if I’m going to pick them up yet.
Which ones will you guys be picking up? Let us know!
See you again at the end of June.
